How long have you used the Start Today Journal?
I've been doing the Start Today Journal since January 2020. I decided to buy it, because I was going through a lot of changes in my life. I had the desire to start a new project that means a lot to me, but I was scared to not be able to accomplish it. I didn’t have a good system. I was also terrified to try something new. I wanted to focus on the things I’m grateful for and work on my goals.
How has the Start Today Journal changed your life?
I have way more confidence in myself because I write down the things I want to accomplish as they've already happened! Somehow, my brain knows it's a reality! I also find myself more grateful for the little things in life, which makes me more present and happier.
Have you crossed any goals off in your Start Today Journal?
The first was “launch my podcast”. I did it! I launched a podcast that means the world to me. It’s about immigration and immigration journeys to create a community where we feel supported! I've been working on it for so long, but it wasn’t until I started the journal that things really began to click for me.
What's something surprising you've found since using the Start Today Journal?
How many good things I have in life, really. I used to be so grumpy and I used to complain a lot, but now I find myself thinking about the things I’m grateful for that I can’t wait to write down in my journal.
Who would you recommend the journal to?
Honestly, anyone! I know this is not very specific, but really everyone should have this practice. If you are not happy with your life, I would recommend for you to start today with this practice! You can change things! You have the power to create the life you want, the life that you deserve.
