What We Are Thankful For

If you haven’t caught on to this yet, we are a company fueled by gratitude. Thankfulness and joy are the driving forces behind everything that we create for our community. Why? Because we believe in the transformative power of gratitude. When life feels hard, reach for gratitude. When you’re smooth sailing, reach for gratitude. Whether it’s Thanksgiving week or mid-July, reach for gratitude

Today on the blog we’re sharing a few of the big and small things we’re thankful for.

YOU. We mean it! Nothing is possible for us as a company without the support of our community. You’re not only the driving force behind our WHY but you are the tangible reason we can support our employees and their families. Small businesses survive because people like you choose to shop with us. For that, we are thankful today and everyday.

Technology! Sure we’ve cracked jokes about Zoom burnout and technology fatigue this year but our business operations have been able to continue entirely because of technology! More important than for business function, this year we’ve been able to stay connected to the important people in our lives thanks to email, messaging and video calls. Like many of you, we have participated in the big life moments thanks to technology. From virtual baby showers, family game nights to recording a new podcast series, we are grateful for the way technology has shaped 2020 and kept us connected to those far away while staying safely at home.

Our first responders. Nothing keeps you grounded in what a gift it is to be healthy than a global pandemic. We are so indebted to and thankful for nurses, doctors, first responders and emergency personnel who have been our heroes this year. They have sacrificed so much for the collective good and we stand in support of them not just this season but always.

It’s so important to name the big ways we’re grateful but we believe in listing the small things too! It’s a practice that helps us to stay in a state of gratitude no matter where we are or what’s going on in our life. A few small things we’re grateful for today are….

Cooler fall temperatures and early morning light...
Memes on the Internet reminding us of good news everywhere...
Teachers who get creative with their classrooms on Zoom...
The scent of a Fall pumpkin candle burning...
Christmas decorations starting even earlier this year...
Piping hot coffee in the morning....
Children’s laughter echoing the halls at home...
Finding the perfect cozy Fall sweater...

Hallmark movies back in droves…

See how we did that? If you’re willing to look for small blessings, you will surely find them everywhere. Now it’s your turn!
